Country Christian School is dedicated to glorifying God by preparing our students to participate effectively in God's plan for their lives. This will be accomplished first of all, by teaching them from Scripture that God has created them, has offered them salvation, and has set absolute standards for them with morals and values.
Secondly, our goal is to teach all subjects in the curriculum as parts of an integrated whole with the Scripture at the center (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Our students will be prepared to participate effectively in God's plan for their lives by developing and refining the reading, communicating, and mathematic skills that are required to assimilate the known and to investigate the unknown. Our curriculum is based on traditional academics, but we also encourage the development of the whole person with a program designed to develop the child's cognitive, creative, artistic, and athletic abilities in a manner that is glorifying to God.
In addition, in the programs and teachings at all levels, as well as through extracurricular activities and examples set by faculty and staff, we, at Country Christian School strive to:
Provide a clear model of biblical Christian life through the school staff and board (Matthew 22:37-47)
Encourage every student to begin to develop a personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20)
Encourage every student to develop a love for learning and to achieve maximum academic potential
Provide an orderly and secure atmosphere conductive to maintaining these standards
Our intent is that our graduates be able to analyze information and issues with Biblical discernment which will equip them to be "salt and light" in an increasingly godless society. The teaching from Scripture and the teaching of skills and knowledge will be balanced, so as to insure that our students will be unique in their individual characters and abilities, and dedicated to glorifying their Creator.
